The Trump administration said it was freezing some permanent labor certification filings for Microsoft, Adobe and several IT services firms.

Microsoft, the AFT, and the UFT announced a school AI privacy standard that bars training models on student and educator data and can be written into Microsoft education contracts.

Hays said it is expanding Microsoft AI capabilities to more than 8,000 employees, while Bloomberg Law reported it is shifting hiring toward roles harder to replace with AI.

Bloomberg Law reported that automated chat and phone systems are handling customer-service work at companies including Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Microsoft, Uber Technologies, and Hyatt Hotels.
